7 Days Behind The Scenes with Renée

This week, my dad passed away.

I've never had a parent die before, and if I'm honest, I'm navigating territory I've never walked through.

What has surprised me most isn't just the grief.

It's what the grief is revealing.

The patterns.

The memories.

The responsibilities I've carried.

The fears I'm finally ready to let go of.

Over the last few days, I've felt my body physically relax in ways I didn't know it needed to.

I've become aware of parts of myself that have been waiting to be seen.

And instead of rushing back to work, I've made a decision.

I'm taking another week away.

Not because I'm broken.

Not because I need fixing.

But because I believe the best coaches do the work on themselves first.

Every lesson I've ever taught that has transformed lives is one I've lived first.

On Monday, I'm flying to Los Angeles.

I'll be spending time with one of my best friends, while also having conversations about taking Closing the Loops™ to the next level.

Meeting with people who can help us expand the impact of this work and get it into the hands of more people around the world.

And if I'm honest, the timing couldn't be more interesting.

Because while part of me is grieving, another part of me is dreaming.

While part of me is letting go, another part of me is building what comes next.

And I know there are lessons in that.
